Description
Traditional South Indian sweet, particularly popular in Tamil Nadu, made from black sesame seeds. the sesame seeds are roasted until they release their natural oils and become slightly aromatic. Jaggery, a type of unrefined sugar made from sugarcane or palm, is then melted and combined with the roasted sesame seeds to form a sticky mixture. Once the mixture cools down a bit, it is shaped into small, round balls.
